 COMPREHENSIVE SLEEP EVALUATION


Your first visit to our office will entail a complete comprehensive sleep evaluation and examination. This will include a thorough review of  medical history along with  head, neck and throat evaluation. Dr. Lawson will evaluate your sleep studies to assess the presence of sleep disorders, snoring  or health problems. This information is compiled to determine if a patient is a candidate for Oral Appliance Therapy, and to determine the appropriate treatment options.

Dr. Lawson works closely with patients primary care physicians, sleep doctors and dentists for effective treatment to help resolve sleep apnea and snoring.

The Comprehensive Evaluation takes about 90 minutes. Patients need to make sure that all medical documentation, sleep studies, and dental x-rays have been sent to Dr. Lawson prior to the scheduled appointment. This information is critical in determining candidacy for Oral Appliance Therapy and the most effective treatment options.
